There should be highway road tolls and the money should go directly to fund rail for transportation to move people, not just freight. Get people to take public transit -- especially in that madhouse of southern Ontario. Way too many people racing around stressed out and killing the environment and causing too much green house gases. But wait, Ontario builds cars, can't to that. Switch, smokescreen, tax and fool the public. Let's use "Green Energy" and drive the economy into the ground, don't make a spec of difference, make Ontario less competitive in a global economy so our competitors like China, India and the USA that have 75 per cent of the world's population can reduce our standard of living down and we're all miserable and can't afford to live in our own homes. This is a false economy, paving over the best land for subdivision for people to work for the government. We're hooped.

I would have to go with roads as it's much easier to drive than take a train. Air is over priced and there is no public transit so to speak.

Since the Anti Pipeline dorks think rail is best, maybe the rail system needs to be looked at. The road system needs attention. We are still waiting for the election promises (lies) of both the feds and province, that would see Highway 17 twinned. We all know this is just Wynne throwing the North a bone and trying to make us feel included.
