CUPW union, (posties) watch where you tread this time and sit down and make a deal, cannot you see the writing on the wall. I doubt this time that you can hold the country to ransom for your service.

I find the workers at the post office in Kenora and Keewatin really helpful.

Canada Post is becoming less relevant every day. Alternatives to Canada Post are increasing daily. You can email money now and virtually pay anything online. It's true that not everyone has a computer in 2016, but as the boomers replace the elderly, that will change. Watch your step Canada Post union. Forcing customers to find an alternative may not be in Canada Post's or its employees best interest.

I send an equal amount of letters and parcels as kids live away from Kenora

Personally I try to use Canada Post as little as possible. I use automatic withdrawls for most of my bills and Internet banking and emails.
Canada Post does not represent Canadians any longer. They are just an overpaid bunch of civil servants.

I stopped using Canada post for packages quite awhile ago. The cost was ridiculous and the last parcel I mailed cost more to send then the item was worth. I still buy the odd stamp for letters that have to be mailed. They are pricing themselves out of a job.
