If you looked after yourself better, there would be more money available for people that actually get ill or need help - not self induced. You have a responsibility to be healthy. If you smoke, eat garbage, sit around and do not do the minimum amount of health care, you are already using more than your share of publicly funded health care.

Look at the Sunshine list. Over $100,000 annually. The local CEO makes $183,000. Nurses are leaving through attrition and not being replaced. Morale is so low, not too many want to go to work each day. It is hard to work under gestapo conditions. The provincial government is responsible for health care. They have wasted so much money on their incompetent contracts. Look at Ornge; the setting up of the health care data system, which is still not complete after all this time, LHINs; Ontario Hydro by making poor decisions and paying too much per kw to developers, to name a few. Under these circumstances, the only result is for the government to fail. Someone is going to pay the tab and that will be us, the taxpayer.

I cannot believe the amount of "NO" votes when it comes to health care funding. Point the finger at the unions for high wages which I believe is unwarranted, point the finger at the provincial government; where it should be really pointed, money on wasted gas plants, millions of dollars for the Pan-Am games. If you don't have your health you have nothing! What's your priority?

Health care delivery is a provincial responsibility.
If the McGuinty/Wynne government hadn't gone insane and blown tens of billions of dollars on idiotic green energy windfarms which our grandchildren will be paying for there would be plenty of money to adequately fund health care.

The reason for voting no is because of the extreme union wages and salaries in this sector. As a professional patient, after dealing with people in the health care sector, I am astounded by how much money some of them make. Maybe the answer lies not in the bottomless taxpayer's wallet but in not letting the militant unions always get their way. The people bargaining on behalf of the taxpayer suck at their jobs. It's out of control. That's why people vote "no".

Yes there is much more the federal government can do, expect to see such with an election looming

I think the federal government does their share, it's time for the provincial government to anti up. If they wouldn't have wasted so much money buying two seats down east there would be more than enough to properly fund health care.

Which government? I'm trying to figure out if the No votes are card carrying provincial Liberals or federal Conservatives. I can't believe anyone could say no. Let's hear your reasoning for that. Maybe this question should have offered a choice between health care and something else to measure some other need.

No, look after yourselves better. Look around, most people can't even walk 2 km. Look at yourselves first.
