Yes then can save lives but poeple with brains know when you use them and when they can take them off. It would be stupid to get fined for fishing with no life jacket on. |

Okay here the fact. And ya some people may say than parents just do it but it could be anybody. Here is a story. You have parents and children fishing. Woops hit a rock boat begins to sink. Kids have life jackets on but not parents. Parents drowned and kids are left floating around the lake in their life jackets crying for their parents who are now dead at the bottom of the lake. Or another thing is you have some adults in the boat. Some with life jakcets and some without. The ones with try to save the once without and end up somehow being killed or injured in the process. I do think however that the price of life jackets is ridiculous. Something with the price has to be done espeically when it comes to kids life jackets. |

THere is little point in having a PFD in a boat but not on the person. That would be similar to having seat-belts in a car but not on the person. |
