Students can always be contacted through the office. Cell phones are distracting even if they are turned off. Everyone has to check their messages between classes, or play games or take pictures, or e-mail, or surf the net. Sometimes its OK to be out of touch. |

Of course not. I think the student and the parent should have detention when the kid's cell phone rings during class. |
