I don't understand why everyone is against the downtown revitalization. Moving the tree? Not a big deal as long as it is in a location that can be seen. Once the "Richards roundabout" is complete we can put the tree right in the center of it.

Leave the tree where it belongs. Just forget about the downtown revitalization. It is such a waste of money. I could think of other things it could go to. If we are into tourism so they say, and we are having issues with the snowmobile club, why don't we take that 6 million or so and buy a groomer ourselves. Hire people to run and look after the trails and charge a SMALL fee for using them. We hire people for summer tourists so what about the winter tourists.

Why is everybody in this town so afraid of change?
I liked the tree where it was, but if we are going to improve our ancient cracking sewer system in that area of town, why would we ever try to damage it again for the sake of tradition? We can put a tree somewhere else, and enjoy it. Our town will benefit from revilization!

There should be "No" downtown revitalization!!
The tree should stay, the silly ideas that the council come up with should go.
