It was my hope that Rory McMillian would have considered this role as Mayor. Kenora's future does not look so bright as on so many levels we are in serious trouble. Mr. Nickle and Mr. Brown have, at least, given a ray of hope for the much needed change.

I think it reflects Kenora's uncertain future and the willingness of the candidates to step in and lead in very difficult times.

At first, it was scary that Compton could get in by the anti-Canfield vote. Now with Nickle running, there is some hope.

I think it is a good idea. We need a change and badly. It's time to get some new blood in. Just by the amount running for Mayor and Council, it's obvious that Kenora wants a change.

It is not about how many candidates there are. It is about finding the right candidate that will do some positive things for this changing city.

I think more is better, but not to better themselves but to help and serve the community. We need all the help we can get.

Experience doesn't always yield the best results. We need people with open minds and fresh ideas not single minded people with closed minds.

Yes! Why not? We need change and change is good. Right?

More candidates will help expose the different ideas and approaches that are on the table for voters to pick from. Hopefully there will be a public forum where the candidates can air their views on the local issues and we can see who has true ability and who has fluff...

Although I think it's great to see this much interest in the community. Too many canidates may result in splitting the votes, resulting in no change
