The last MPP that did good for Kenora was Leo Bernier and that was a long time ago. The only thing Hampton has done is set himself up for nice early retirement courtesy of the hardworking taxpayers.

I will continue to vote for the Green Party as long as Howard is there, I have voted for Howard in the past but he has not come through anymore, I've asked for help several times but came to a dead end. Sooo, when we change the leader and perhaps the candidate then I'll start voting NDP again but for now, I'll vote for the Green Party, if not the Liberals but not the Conservatives. New leader! new leader! new candidate!

OF course he should stay. If he doesn't he will would be replaced by a leader chosen that is not from Northern Ontario. Then all the parties with have leaders from Southern Ontario. He has done more for the North than any candidate from any party.

No doubt Howard is experienced and has worked hard for us. I just firmly believe that labor-based parties are not in the future of politics in Canada.

It would be understandable if howard would decided to retire as he has done more than any other political leader ever has for the north. However, HE STILL CAN DO MORE THAN OTHER PERSON AND REGUARDLESS OF WHICH PARTY YOU SUPPORT, YOU KNOW THIS !!!! IT WILL BE A GREAT LOSS FOR KENORA AND THE NORTH WHEN HE IS NO LONGER THE LEADER !!!!

We are still paying for Bob Rays' "Reign of Error". No intelligent voter would want another NDP government in this province. Scary part is even Bob left the NDP for the Liberals!!
Not an NDP  ( April 11, 2008)
Stay on Howard. You are the only credible voice we have.
Paula  ( April 10, 2008)
There's no doubt Howard is an okay northwest guy, but the NDP is not going to do anything for us in Ontario. This is a big province, the 2nd richest in Canada. It got that way because companies and individuals invest here. The NDP is still in there too much for minority rights and not for mainstream tax generators. This region doesn't generate investment because they're being scared off for one. One thing I do agree with NDP is that we need more Federal and Provincial government presence to assert government policy and direction and enforce the laws of the land. Everyone should be wearing a Canadian flag.

What difference does it make. As long as Kenora votes in a representative from any party other than the one who forms the government, we get screwed.
