Most of the drunks are passed out by then. I've never seen anything like this in my life. What do you say to an eight-year-old when she askes why that person is sleeping on the side of the road? |

With the number of "street people" on the rise, especially younger persons, it is getting quite dangerous on the streets of downtown Kenora. Not a night goes by that you don't see a pool of blood or some individual who has been on the wrong side of a fight.
With the disfunctional courts syatem, the individuals who cause the problem, whether they be intoxicated, high or just angry at the world, go into a police car, through the court and back onto the street quite rapidly. |
