It's obvious the Liberals do nothing for this area, federal or provincal. Stephan Dion let's have a fall election and your carbon tax you are boasting as one of your election platforms. We can say goodbye once and for all to the liberals we really need another tax we are taxed to death now. l hope the Conservatives get a majority. Harper is on the right track.

Not that it matters in this riding! No matter who gets in, we dont exist. We are the gap in Canada from Sault Ste. Marie to Winnipeg. It is sad that elections are over before our polls even close. As for the senate, give Harper a majority so he can get on with senate reform. These old dudes, ex hockey players etc. can go live on some one else's dollar.

Let's elect someone from the party that is going to majority ruling. Roger Valley did nothing for this area, remember the paper mill? Where were you Roger? How about some federal pressure to settle the wood rights issue? Hello Roger! Say goodbye Roger!

I think that, irregardless of who gets in, it will be a minority and it will be a minority for a long, long time, since the split between the East and West is a split between the combined Conservative/Reform party vs. Liberals. Also, I think the NDP have a better chance of getting elected in the Kenora Riding this time around, but, again, as one person said, "they are all the same". They want to please Canada's urban ridings as this is where the majority of voters live.

I believe it's time to give Harper a majority so he can proceed on with his tough on crime legislation that has been held up by the Liberal dominated Senate for far too long.

To me, as long as the NDP doesn't get in- this Riding is out to lunch anyway. We may as well be in Bolivia or Venezuela. We're done, our economy is based on Policing and Social services.

This period of a minority government has been the most responsible for some time, regardless of Harper's game of 'chicken' gambling for power. Whenever we've had standard 'majority' governments of whatever stripe, they do whatever they want and call it a mandate.

Yes, and finally win a majority so they can get on with running the country. it will also put and end to Stephan Dion, he will never run Canada. If the guy with the big eyebrows was in charge of the Liberal Party, they may stand a chance.

I think the Liberals would lose that election as many would not vote for them simply because of a waste of taxpayers money. It would also be a huge waste of time as many programs slated to go ahead such as twinning our highway could be cancelled to save money. I am not a Conservative voter generally but I think they have done a reasonable job thus far.

Would it make a different? They are all the same.... all lip service and no action for Northern Ontario.
