Depends on your own definition of success. For me, raising my children to be good citizens, caring, healthy that can adapt to the world in order for them to be able to choose for themselves is, in my mind succesful. I want to be sure they are outward looking and can face the world, not living in isolation. If you want to survive, you have to adapt to change. Why live in misery. |

There's an old saying that success is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. What you know and who you know are certainly key ingredients and many believe a positive mental attitude is the key. However, luck and timing seem to trump them all. |

The definition of success in life is determined only by the individual seeking it. For some it may be a more humble existence close to friends and family. I think far too many people equate success with money. Money is great, but many people with lots of it are miserable. Finding what makes you happy from within will be achieved only by what you know. Knowing what you truly want and reaching toward that goal. It is happiness within the journey that makes for success. |
