I worked at a financial institution for several years, most Kenora residents live from pay day to pay day, paying their monthly bills takes most of their income, so therefore not much left over for extra activities. Paying the monthly bills go up and up, but income doesn't, my gas bill shows the actual used amount cost as 2.68... but the equal billing is 81.00! I guess the little guys pay for corporate stupidity. |

With sewer and water rates on the rise, no doubt also an increase in municipal taxes. A lot of residents will have less disposable income. Add to that a"carbon Tax". With no outlook for a new well paying employer, not enough people wanting to work for current employers, the future is pretty dismal. |
