l think we should put a 40 per cent tariff on our oil goinging to the US and 50 per cent on hydro going south then you would see some moves by the US pretty quick to agree with what WE consider a good deal. |

Another case of our inept government trying to cram Canadian values down the throats of other countries.
When dealing with international trade we need to focus on what is good for Canada not try to change the rules.
Our negotiators also need to be more aggressive, not sit back and wait for an invite to a meeting.
If NAFTA fails we need to shut off the flow of resources to the U.S. or at least charge them the going price for crude. |
