It's too late, it's been too late ever since someone discovered fire. No matter what, humans are not going to stop burning something.

I have wondered if the Liberals had been around when the climate change killed the dinosaurs, what kind of tax would have been implemented.

It is too bad that "climate change" got so political and now has become another "cash cow" for governments and special interest groups. If the climate had not changed locally, we would still have Caribou herds. Also Ptarmigan, now and arctic bird.
Already our summers have changed and winters are changing too. Some of the old common vegetation has been replaced by new stuff. Invasive species are a huge threat. Zebra Mussels alone could cost thousands in maintenance of water intakes etc, let alone the devastation of fish breeding grounds.

I think both levels of government (Federal and Provincial) are doing a great job of wrecking havoc on the economy in spite of the inability of actually affecting any real outcomes other than driving up taxes and taking selfies. Little Canada has <1% of the carbon outputs, yet, like little boyscouts of the world we think we're actually doing something. Lets keep increasing the population to over 12 billion people, see how that helps the planet.

This leading question fails to take into the historical account via the Greenland ice cores which indicate that CO2 doesn't drive climate. There have been many times before the existence of human industry that CO2 levels and global temps were exponentially higher than today, as well as times where levels were lower than today. This is a blatant cash grab by the UN-puppet Prime minister to further their industry-stifling agenda.

What do you mean climate change. But of course there is. The Vikings farmed Greenland as they called it for about 400 hundred years a thousand years ago. That little red ball above your head changes and so does the tilt of the earth. Not that we should be (doing to) the planet as bad as we do but carbon taxes are going to change that. Right. Only increases government pay checks.

It would be nice if the 4 or 5 different levels of authority could get together and control/regulate the natural water flow from lakes and streams. There are some of us who are getting some flooding and land erosion because, some residents want or prefer to have the lake levels high.

Local businesses such as Evergreen Ski Hill and other winter events and clubs will likely be affected by climate change. Winters are getting shorter every passing year. Snow sculptures, local ice roads and the outdoor rinks didn't last too long.

I am definitely not a climate change denier as you can see the difference in weather. I think the change is a natural thing and has been going on since creation. Instead of spending all that money on green things it would be better put to use preparing for floods, ice storms and whatever else comes along.

As every one can see the government of Canada does not care they talk big but do nothing they have elimnated all types of environmental programs, testing surveys etc. about climate change whether or not we do anything does not matter when the U.S. and the third world countries keep destroying our air, water, forests maybe the climate change will heat every thing up and we will not have to pay such outrageous hydro rates
