I think it's time that council actually listened to what the people of this city think. Why are we spending so much money on a 'round about' when there are much simpler more cost effective ways to fix the situation. Remember when Main St. was two lanes? It's pretty simple math, more lanes = more movement = less back-up. It took me almost 10 minutes to get down Main St. last week! When someone wants to park it backs up the whole lane of traffic. Not to mention the horrible state that most of our neighbourhood roads are in. You can only fill holes in the road so many times before there is no road left to fill.

If you don't make a decision then you are always half right or half wrong. So far they have sluffed off decisions on the Coney Board walk, snow mobile access routes and the Keewatin Library! This is the council that was supposed to shake things up, restart the economy! Get with it people, we voters have a long memory.

Our council is more worried about themselves and their vehicle allowance than about the city and I would be happy to see Dave and the old councillors back.

It seems like a rerun of a bad movie. So far it is "same old, same old"! Nothing seems to happen.
Keeping a zero budget was a no brainer, no matter what council was in. So far it's the same old "rubber stamp" process. Where are the changes the new councillors talked about during the election? I don't see anything so far that would cause me to vote for any of the current councillors in the next election, which sadly is a long way off. Why didn't some of them publicaly go after the provincial government officials who were here with pre-election hand outs. What about the waterline replacement to Norman and Keewatin, fiber access for KFP and Truss Joist!

I think they should focus on how the town could survive for the locals not just the tourists. They seem to forget about the folks here paying taxes and supporting the town 'All' year. Why do they keep insisting on changing the Harbourfront and Main Street. Try fixing our roads, cleaning up the streets, and deal with what we have. Look at Dryden they are a smaller community but they seem to be growing. Why is that? Kenora has their set little group and what they say goes! Its a shame, but money does talk! Good luck council, try to remember the working class as we often get forgotten.

The current council will be like many others... less than perfect. Thankfully they do not claim to do everything perfectly and are doing their best in a tough situation. Critical decisions have to be made and we may not see the results of those decisions for a few years. I for one think constructive criticism will go a lot farther than the whining and complaining we will hear ad nauseum. Sometimes tough decisions will be made that will adversely affect one or more individuals but it seems that those are the only ones we ever hear from. How about a few positive comments? At least this council is trying to move forward instead of trying to save the mill. Where did that get us? It's a new era in Kenora's history. Where would you like to see us in 10 years? I think there is a movement of positive energy in Kenora that rarely is seen in this particular questionnaire.

Good point about the Police and hiring an OPP officer to decide which force to go with. Isn't that a bit like leaving the fox in charge of the hen house? Smooth move council.
We sure can't pick your favorite. What a signal you are sending to the staff of the Police department.

I think they should focus their attention on one thing at a time!

You can't do "bad" if you haven't done anything!!
