I work on the Harboufront. Last year an incalcuable amount of tourists would ask me where the 'big fish' was (as they had driven past it unknowingly). It is even impossible to point to it from the harboufront because it cannot be seen. There is one tree in particular that is a problem. Removing it would not harm the park to any degree. Perhaps if tourists could see ol' Husky they would meander to it. An attraction which is hiding can do no attracting.

As the one time Forest capital why would you want to remove the trees? I am all for trimming and maintaining them but not removing. It is one of the few remaining parks that you can go to and just sit and relax in the shade. Please leave our green space green.

No. If you want to see the Husky the Muskie from Haps or the street it's only a three minute walk to go see it up close.

Kenora is known for its beautiful Harbourfront. I think removing some of the trees would be great so we could see the lake and Husky the Muskie.

I think the trees should remain in front of Husky the Muskie because the trees prevent blowing sand and snow from damaging it and it also encourages tourists to visit Husky the Muskie up close, and to read the information about our community that surrounds it.
