Cost avoidance cannot be a legitimate reason for not protecting the environment. Many of the big hitters are not costly at all, they just require a slight change in lifestyle. Many will complain, while the mainly silent majority of supporters will welcome such change. It needs to happen, and given that Kenora relies so heavily upon it's image as a NATURAL destination, we need to lead such green initiatives and not be followers. It's part of living where we do, so let's step up and start doing a better job. |
