Let's see, it was the next thing close to a secret party visit, there was a noticeable lack of street people in Kenora that day, he did not tour Kenora at all to any body's knowledge, he did not address any issues that were important to our city. But he did allow the rich and famous (in their own minds) the opportunity to kiss his butt. Did he gain my support? If anything he lost some of the support he had. Keep the tax cuts coming because that's all you have going for you.

I didn't get the opportunity to see him. His visit was very secretive until the day before. I heard about it through the Dryden newspaper before I heard about it from anyone in Kenora. And he wasn't available for the general public to visit. He did visit one school in Dryden, but none in Kenora? Why in the world would his "passing through" Kenora make any sort of difference to me?
