The office isn't for the tax payers (it's for paper pushers). High level of service, have you called 911 lately? Do you really think the Anderson Road office is conveniently located to report an incident? Who plans this stuff.

According to the Miner & News, the downtown office will not be available for the public to report an incident. So who cares where the office is, you still need to go out to the Anderson Road building for that.

There is an office on Water Street, what does that office do?

l think Treaty Three Police should look after the problem.

We have a downtown office on Water Street, which is one block off Main Street, you need to be buzzed in and most people don't even know it's there. Main Street is basically a ghost town after 7:30 p.m. or 8:00 p.m., there is nothing open and nothing to do on Main Street. The police office on Hwy 17 East (near Home Hardware) is closed, waste of taxpayer's money once again. What good will a Main Street office do? The staffing would cost taxpayers even more money to have it open 24 hours. It would be much better to just have a few officers located by the Knox Church, so that the neighbourhood can feel safe in their homes. Council needs to go downtown after 8:00 p.m. and have a look around at our tourist destination, big joke.

No change, there is no respect for the law or others property, laws dealing with minors have to change

An office is good, but if you have to staff it, it takes boots off the ground. If you don't address the core drug issues of users on the street and going after the dealers, an office is just an office.
