Ford and his Conservative pals could care less about public health.

Maybe the town would be free without needles all over the city if there was no health unit. Give needles for free but no exchange. This town is scary.

Our Health Unit covers 171,000 square km with 12 offices, so if we lose it, we may need to travel further for some health care issues.

Ford is just trying to balance the budget and he doesn't care about the Ontario tax payers, maybe he should come live here for a few years to experience our living conditions in Northwestern Ontario. He is cutting jobs but most of the people I know were going to retire anyway, but now get a better deal with a buy out, and he will be taking credit for the cuts. Doesn't make sense. We have medical issues with alcoholism and diabetes and provincial funding goes to a brewery and candy store, but we will probably have huge cuts to our Health Unit.

You must look back at the last 12 or years of Liberal government and now we have to pay for there over spending especially on social programs time to cut these.

The health unit is overstaffed. If they were made to cut back to a reasonable level this may not have happened. The needle program should end. There is a lot of money wasted on this program.

The crime is that the Wynne Liberals put us $360 billion in debt. We cant get out of this hole in seven generations. Now the federal Liberals are doing the same!

The Ontario government is broke thanks to McGuinty and Wynne. The government must pay twelve Billion dollars in interest costs before any other expenditures which means a lot of services will be cut back or else taxes go through the roof just to maintain status quo.
$12 billion every year could build a lot of infrastructure or provide a lot of services but instead Ontario taxpayers get nothing.
