Yes it is a good idea BUT the liberals will nail you with another tax to make this happen. l wonder how many people know that hundreds of millions of dollars from the now beloved Carbon tax is going to China to improve their industries? Well l wonder what Mr. Nault has to say about this?

I think we all should try our best to reduce garbage. Ask your grandparents what they used before plastic. Paper bags at the grocery stores, milk came in glass bottles that where delivered to your door, then the milk man picked them up the following week and dropped off new ones. What ever happened to cloth diapers? People are just too lazy now a days. What about styrofoam? Ban that stuff from 'to go' food restaurants. I think the manufacturing companies should be made to reduce their packaging. Everyone needs to do their part!

The only Canadian plastic ending up in the ocean is from Trudeau's garbage barge being returned from the Philippines

If the ban was to put an end to single use needles, then maybe I could support it. However in the 'drink box thingy' world of current leadership, I can't support anything Liberal!!

I am sick and tired of anything the Liberal government has done. They are liars! They do not care about the middle class and the carbon tax, what a joke. So when they dish out money to a plastic company and then want to ban it, can we trust them? You do the math!

Yes I agree with it but do not let the Liberals put their hands on it. The people who use this in the products they sell should be responsible to get rid of it, plastic bottles should be banned.

Thank you Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and our Liberal government for this initiative! Plastics are polluting our lands and oceans!

Like it or not it’ll probably come to fruition here in Ontario. The provincial Conservatives discussed this over three months ago. It’s a good idea as long as it doesn’t affect the medical supplies industry.

I can't find a paper plastic water bottle thing that the PM was mumbling about.

Yes, get back to paper which breaks down. Reusable glass and aluminum goes in the recycle bin. If anyone recalls it was the tree huggers that pushed for the miracle product plastic to save the renewable trees.
