We must be vigilant if we are to preserve our democratic system of voting in Ontario. The Citizens Assembly is determined to promote the agenda of fringe parties on the politican scene. This could prevent any party from receiving a clear mandate to govern and eventually lead to chaos.

We should be voting in the Manitoba provincial elections because Ontario ignores us
Robert  ( January 26, 2007)
No,we would be crazy to vote for anybody other than Howard Hampton.
Myron  ( January 25, 2007)
No. There will always be the "we're under-represented" cry from those not happy with their current situation in life. However, we all have the ability to move, to make a new start, to head down a different path when needed. Few of us do though as it's much easier to blame than to take responsibility. The forestry sector would be in dire straits no matter who we voted for last time, and it'll take a while to recover no matter who we vote for next time, or if we have one regional government rep or two. We live in an economically challenged and demographically isolated part of Ontario. That's reality, black and white. There are roads heading east, west and south of here that the government maintains should you wish to roll the dice elsewhere...
