I love using e-mail to communicate. I can respond at 11 p.m. or 6 a.m. and I don't have to worry about waking anyone up. If someone has a job that they are talking all day it is nice to just type a message. It also gives you more time to articulate your words. If only I could stop people from forwarding jokes and actually type a line or two occasionally. Sometimes the messages get lengthy and then I prefer the phone or face to face communication. |

I find it rather odd that the people who are self employed (ie. construction industry... plumbers, electricians) all have these devices... but somehow forget how to use them to make return calls when you need to get a hold of them because of a household emergency. You still end up waiting for days to hear back from them. |

In a perfect world there would be only face-to-face communications. But as a busy mom, with busy kids, who has busy friends - with their busy kids, work schedules, other activities... I still find email the most accesible for me! |
