Definitely a site that needs to be maintained as is. A natural, beautiful area, except for maybe a small parking lot at the trailhead. Please do not suburb it up by flattening, widening and paving trails. No further development is required. You can't improve perfection, so don't try. |

This is a true gift from the City and Treaty 3. Together they have partnered to bring citizens of the land back to the land. It is my week end tradition, watching the seasons and the leaves change, and enjoying the company of loved ones and pets. Truly a spiritual place!! |

a great place as any ol"boy from norman will tell you, swimming in sandy nook, fishing from the bridge. catching turtles in the ponds, running the tracks home...oops! a great place for a great walk. i wasn't supposed to mention the tracks. |

if you went way past the powerhouse, you will also see the old cable car the powerhouse used to use to take water temp. and water depth, Perch Bay Resort and to the north you would see pipeline rapids and the sewage treatment plant. |

Those trails are beautiful and very walker friendly. I always feel though like I am trespassing as you can get so close to the tracks. Ironically though, that is the coolest part of the trail for me. |
