I hate to be so critical....but, do you think that the future questions posed could be more interesting to the populus at large? There's a lot going on in the country/world and I find this question has been done time and again (maybe worded differently but, with the same typical outcome). Let's find something more topical and less vague, in future please! The opinions posted are generally the same - "we hate the government, they all fleece us", blah blah blah. I swear you could ask if the sky was blue and at least half the population will respond with how it's Councils fault. Frankly, I am just going to ignore the poll section in future - I can't stand the negativity. |

If the general public knew the realities of Municipal Government, most upper management would be looking for new jobs, as the public wouldn`t stand for what's really going on behind the scenes. I would know as I worked for the City of Kenora and was dismissed after 14 years of work without a single reprimand or letter on my file.(Ever) Management said I was dangerous and threatening to the operations of Municipal Government. I called them on their actions and they let me go because I`m right and they are afraid of what I know. Liars, Cowards and Bullies. Want to know what`s really going on? Talk to me. |

The Provincial Government over legislates us. They dictate that we will wear seat belts, bike helmets, not smoke in cars, enforce archaic drinking laws, hiding cigarettes from view,etc. The Provincial government should govern and stop trying to be a parent. |

Federal. Think about it - no matter where you go or live in Canada, from province to province, life will end up pretty much the same. Take that same idea and apply it to moving to a different country - like China, or even the US. Life, government, culture; it would be VERY different.
