For the small population, limited industry and business, and huge geography, I think we're certainly represented enough. We all know that southern Ontario pays the bills. This area wouldn't be able to pave the first kilometer out of town without subsidies. The best thing many folks do is whine like spoiled brats. We're lucky to be so far out of the lime light of Toronto area and enjoy all the great benefits of being included in Ontario. You're richer than you think, or admit.

Provincial and Federal levels definitely voted in by the non-contributors and the ones who benefit most from the Social Programs. Municipal level, just does not seem to listen.

The numbers still have not changed to make any difference from southern ontario getting everything, Joining Manitoba makes more sense.

The tax payers had good representation with Greg Rickford. I will leave it at that!

Since voters in our current riding are few and far between, I don't see the need or purpose for an additional riding. It will only add to the cost of government.
Since Ontario ends at Toronto, we are just a place that needs more tax dollars than we contribute.
Better than a new riding, would be the creation of the new province of Northern Ontario. Northerners understand what we need, they appreciate the resources we need to develope, they also can read a map to see that our area is huge compared to the little piece of the current province that rules us and doesn't really want us.
We do need however better representation than we currently have both provincially and federally.

I don't know if another riding would help. I think we just need to pin up a large map at the legislature to show the existing MPP's learn that Ontario doesn't stop at Toronto's city limits.

\\we only had one person representing tax payers in our riding over the last number of years greg rickford and he got voted out by non taxpayers here so what do you think will happen with another riding just another person getting voted in by non taxpayers like the two we have in our riding now.......

It is still Northwestern Ontario. The land of the forgotten. At election time all the parties are promising everything and anything to get our votes. Then after the election, we are off the political map.
How is the highway twinning working out for you??
