It's nice to see that some people have the passion and commitment to contribute to their country and local communities in a meaningful way.Mental illness is a serious issue and should be treated as such. It is not BORING. A shame really, the small mindedness of some individuals. People should try contributing to making Kenora a better place to live instead of seeking to belittle everything for some unknown ridiculous reason.

I find after a while you lose track of "the soup of the week". Not that there aren't a lot of people with problems out there.

Mental health is a huge concern, we see it down town every day. Folks from other communities end up in Kenora or a dropped off, and abandoned.

I feel that if various organizations have a need to make their group go public with campaigns to raise awareness, then, by all means do it. But they shouldn't be surprised at the lack of enthusiasm from the public. People are astute, and are aware of social issues such as mental health, or missing women, or even the drug epidemic on our streets today. But, as an individual, there's not much I can do to solve any of these issues, shy of being aware of them. That's what these organizations are for. Top fix, mend or repair the problems. The average person is not trained to deal with these issues. We rely on people that have degrees in their field to help others with their issues.

After a while it all runs together and is really not interesting anymore. Just like people walking, biking etc. across Canada for whatever reason. BORING
