Social Housing is killing us. Find a job, show up for it, earn a pay cheque. People in our community are so used to getting a free ride its hurting our community. Tax payers are being taxed for those who don't pay. How fair is that! No wonder Canada is in debt!

Social housing is not in the City of Kenora's mandate. The City pays the KDSB over a million and a half every year for social housing costs.

We're already too subsidized. I think everyone should be more accountable and better provide for themselves. There shouldn't have to be any social housing. Get to work, I don't care where your from, no excuses. You are being judged.

We are in Northern Ontario and we will never succeed in getting any funding for as long as live. We are not a major populated city it won't happen. And to all those whiners about the Liberals all I have to say is you voted them in.

There is always a shorting of funding when it comes to infrastructure especially in a small city that doesnt have a large commercial tax base...even when it comes down to repairing a large bridge on the Trans Canada Highway through town that all of Canada uses the Ontario Government won't ante up any funding to pay for it. Our little city is stuck holding the bill...But they always manage to find funding to do studies on all kinds of non useful things and a cash cow for other things I will not get into at this time.

You have asked two questions so requires to inputs. Way to much spent on social problems which have been created by all levels of government and not enough spent on infrastructure which is the backbone of any economy.

Certainly not anywhere west of Mississuaga. Again Northern Ontario is the forgotten land. The whole budget is a lie. Not only that there are no moves to reduce the horrendous deficit these people have created. If you notice, they don't even refer to McGuinty's involvement and refer only to Wynne's reign of error. I guess we are supposed to forgive and forget the other 7 years of Liberal mismanagement.
